This Thanksgiving year may not be with large family dinners. But we can all be EXTRA grateful that our family remains healthy, although apart. And heartfelt feelings for families who have lost someone from Covid-19. This post is my way of saying thankful to all you!
Hey Mr Katsu here’s a little poem for a Thanksgiving favorite!
Oh lonely potato you REALLY are so loved.
At holiday time, on a fork you are shoved.
You grow in the dirt with water and sun.
Then off to market stacked one-by-one.
The pile is high and shoppers soon circle in,
They pick, toss and grab you until none in the bin.
Baked, mashed or fried, all cooking ways to enjoy,
Thanks for your vitamins and delicious goodness, oh boy!
Hey, Mr Katsu so many holiday pies to choose from! Wishing you a Happy Thanksgiving and remember to leave room for pie! Apple pie á la mode has to be my favorite! Who can resist a scoop of vanilla ice cream over a slice of warm apple pie?! Check out this link to learn more about pie history https://whatscookingamerica.net/History/PieHistory.htm
Hey, Mr Katsu looks like I ate too much over the Thanksgiving holiday! No worries, holidays are meant to be celebrated with family, friends and food. Weight watching isn’t everything. Be beautiful from inside and like who you see in the mirror. Balance your meals, sleep, exercise and work/school schedules to be good to yourself!
Hey, Mr Katsu it’s time to meditate about being thankful! It’s better for our mind and body to spend more time thinking about what we do have than what we don’t have. Mr Katsu will be forever grateful to Saving Shibas Inc. for rescuing him from the shelter! Happy Thanksgiving holiday to all!
